The orginal heli-ski operator in Canada now has 11 lodges spread all over the Columbia Mountains in interior BC. This vast range gives you a huge choice of heli-ski options. CMH have evolved over the past 40-plus years to become the world's largest heli-skiing operator. With over 15,000 square kilometres of terrain, fantastic lodges and a high level of personal service means CMH are the market leaders in their field. (or mountain in this case!)

Which area should I choose?

Many of the lodges can accommodate a range of abilities, with some exceptions.

Bugaboos | Cariboos
Perfect for strong skiers who have not heli-skied before with special packages available designed especially for first timers.

Great for those looking for small group heli-skiing for a fast and flexible heli-ski experience.

Bobbie Burns | Gothics

These remote lodges offer an incredible mixture of terrain and a speedy program so are well-suited to experienced skiers.

Galena | Monashees

Exhilarating and steep tree skiing terrain- fantastic for fast, aggressive,

experienced heli-skiers.

CMH K2 and CMH K2 Rotor Lodge | Revelstoke

Great for people who prefer a town environment, set within small towns, these 2 areas are best for easy access and for shorter more flexible trips.

McBride | Valemount
These private lodges can each accommodate up to 10 guests with exclusive use of a Bell 212 Helicopter and 2 heli-ski guides.

How much heli-skiing can I do?

Packages range from 3 – 10 days and include:
From 13,110 to 43,570 guaranteed vertical metres (43,000 to 142,860 vertical feet)

of Heli-Skiing or Heli-Boarding.

All meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Accommodations and use of lodge facilities such as saunas, whirlpools, etc.

Transportation (with the exception of CMH K2)

Services of officially certified guides,

Use of specially designed Heli-Skis. Poles are also provided.
Snowboarders and ski tourers must bring their own equipment.

Radio/shovel/probe/guest pack.

Training in and use of avalanche transceivers.
