2010 update
At the age of 16 Aaron finished the season as the best male British skier of this age for 25 years in slalom and giant slalom. Aaron unfortunately had a big crash and broke both bones in the lower part of his left leg in November 2006, since then he has been fighting to get back to full fitness. Now 19 and with a complete summer of training in Europe and Chile Aaron started this season fully prepared for the first time since his accident. His long term aim for the season is to podium at the British Junior Championships due to be held in France at the end of March and early signs are that he is on track. Athough the conditions in Europe have meant that many races have been cancelled, Aaron has already had his best result in a FIS Slalom race coming 4th in Pila, Itay and has laready reduced his points in slalom by 32%. Following his injury Aaron dropped to 15th in the British rankings but he is now climbing back up the rankings and is currently 5th in Slalom.
In the second part of the season Aaron will be concentrating on Giant Slalom and Super-G and is looking forward to some good results. His pre season training went particularly well in Super-G and his recent training indicates that he should expect to reduce his points in a similar fashion to his slalom results.
Financial crisis at SSGB means Aaron requires extra funding
Due to a major financial crisis at SSGB, the National governing body, Aarons fees to SSGB have risen from 230% since 2007/8. The crisis came about due to a major loss of team sponsorship and the devaluation of the Pound to the Euro. All team athletes are having to pay a set lump sum fee to their core training costs and also more to their travel & accommodation expenses.
Aaron urgently needs to find additional backing/sponsorship to fund his training.

2010 update
Top 20 World Junior Rankings in 2 disciplines
TJ has climbed up the World Junior Rankings in both Super G & Super Combined & into the top 20.In Super G He is now ranked No12 & in Super Combined he is ranked No20. Both these rises up the world ranking lists were due to his great results in the Nor-Am cup races in Canada.He is still very well up the World Junior rankings in Downhill at No32.
TJ wins 4 Junior medals in Nor-Am races in Canada
After a pretty successful trip to Canada TJ returned with 4 Junior medals (1 silver & 3 bronze) from the Canadian legs of the Nor-Am series of races. He raced in 9 events in Lake Louise & Panorama. The highlights were in the Super G's at both resorts and the Slalom & Super Combined in Panorama. In the Lake Louise Super G he was placed 6th overall and 3rd Junior, he also scored his best ever FIS points in any event of 25.75 In the second Panorama Slalom he was placed 12th overall and 3rd Junior, he also scored his best ever Slalom FIS points of 33.53 In the Panorama Super G he was placed 7th overall and 2nd Junior (also 1st leg of Super Combi)
