The Hilton at Whistler was superb. I wished we had had more time in Whistler.
What a great hotel. We had a deluxe room with a king bed - huge amounts of space - and only a short stroll to the lift!
The hotel has a quiet location whilst not being too far away from the village. It is comfortable, friendly, and has the additional bonus of a coffee machine in the lobby (as well as in your room, so nicely catering for all levels of lazy). Their hot tub is an essential post-slopes port of call, and the Javanese spa on the ground floor is a great treat. I'd stay again.
First Tracks was superb! Frontier booked lift tickets and ski school too, very well organised and ready for us on check in. No problems, Super holiday.
We absolutely loved Big White. The slope side accommodation was not only luxurious and spacious it was the best ski in- ski out we have experienced anywhere. Pistes were great, we are intermediate skiers and the snow was incredible. Definitely worth the short flight into the interior of BC to get this kind of experience. We will be back.
Everything went like clockwork. We were quite impressed with our rooms in the Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver (We got upgraded to a one bedroom room) and had a great view from our room at the Westin in Whistler. Our friends were staying in the same places, but in both instances we got better rooms - must be something to do with your services. All transfers and flights were well timed also.
We had a fantastic holiday in Aspen! Everything went like clockwork despite a few plane delays but we made all the connections. Molly Gibson, despite its strange look and layout, was very comfy, warm, welcoming and helpful and excellently situated to make use of the free buses. We loved the log fire. The skiing was superb due to the 3 snowfalls during the time we were there and we managed 8 days out of the ten on uncrowded slopes. Ski passes were at MG on arrival and the ski hire service great
You couldn't ask for a better situated hotel. Right at the bottom of the nursery slopes, it is most definitely ski in/ski out accomodation. A heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool and hot tubs complement the facilities. The best part of course is the warm Canadian welcome you get from the Hotel staff. My wife and I have been returning here for some eight years now and we have not been back to the Alps since tasting North American resorts some twenty years ago. In our opinion Sun Peaks resort and the Delta in particular are No.1. on our list. Book with Frontier - you won't regret it !
Just a note to let you know we had a terrific holiday in Canada. As we checked in the chap on reception at the Delta asked if we had stayed with them before to which I answered yes. On our return to the suites later in the evening we found a cheese, fruit and bread platter waiting for us with a message thanking us for staying with them again, we thought this to be a very kind gesture. Also our friend who lives in Vancouver came to join us in the resort and being a more experienced snow-boarder than we are promptly injured her foot! When I phoned reception for some advice they immediately swung into action producing a pair of crutches to use and drove us to and from the local clinic for treatment.
Thank you for pointing us in the direction of The Four Seasons. We had a fantastic time and the staff were equally fantastic. Great skiing, zip wiring and we even did the Skeleton at the Sliding Centre. Will be sure to talk to you ready for next years trip as I cant imagine we will better the combination of resort and hotel anywhere else. Thanks again
We stayed 2 weeks in a one-bedroom unit in the Residences recently and loved it. The Residences is right in the centre of the village so very close to the lifts, shops and restaurants. The unit is very spacious and is beautifully furnished. We prefer the Residences to the hotel as the room has a kitchen, and the washer and dryer in the room are really handy. The only downside is there was no wifi signal in the room, we had to go near the elevator or to the reception lobby, but it's not a deal breaker for us. [Note from Frontier - The Delta are in the process of adding wifi into the rooms]. We would definitely stay at the Residences again when we return to Sun Peaks.
I loved the Summit. Not only was the one bedroom suite really spacious with splendid views of the mountains, but the staff were amazing. Friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Although 10 minutes walk from the llifts, the free Summit ski shuttle bus ran pretty much on demand and the hotel is really close to lots of restaurants and shops.
Fantastic holiday in Sun Peaks Resort BC - "Canada's best kept secret". Thanks Frontier Ski.
We stayed 2 weeks in a one-bedroom unit in the Residences in March and loved it. The Residences is right in the centre of the village and you can ski to & from the door although the Groomer did wake us up - we didn't need an alarm call. The unit is beautifully furnished. We like the full kitchen as it is easy to eat in if you use the Grocery Delivery Service (the local shop is very limited.) The washer and dryer in the room is great as everything dried over night (don't need many changes of clothes). We had no problem with wifi signal in the room once we got the login from Reception. The hot tubs in the residence were very quiet & more convenient than using the ones in the Hotel. (Robes provided in the room!). Make sure you ski with the hosts - each and every one is superb.
