Panorama is a compact, purpose built village, at the foot of the slopes. It has a tremendous amount of skiing in comparison with the size of the village and so you can expect the slopes to be quiet and spacious at most times. Good novice facilities and the relaxed atmosphere make the resort a good choice for families. Advanced intermediates will find much of interest too. Experts will enjoy the tougher terrain and the ease of access to heli-skiing.
PLEASE NOTE the scheduled transfers don't always meet the arrival or departure times for the flights at Calgary - so a Custom or Private transfer maybe better - please ask us. A custom transfer is semi private and will meet you from the flight but there maybe some other people on it - its a cheaper option than the Private transfer.

Off The Slopes
The tree lined slopes of Panorama offer an excellent array of runs, including some great intermediate trails. For beginners it’s perfect, with plenty of novice terrain to build confidence. Mile 1 and Champagne Express quad chairlifts open up a great range of trails including several long, wide runs that weave right down the mountain. Advanced skiers should head for the Extreme Dream Zone and Taynton Bowl, which has 1,000 acres of backcountry style skiing. There are two excellent terrain parks, just above the village. Off piste enthusiasts will relish the fact that RK Heliski are based at the village, with their helipad just a couple of minutes walk from the village centre, making the expansive glaciers and snowfields on the edge of the Bugaboos easily accessible.
Enormous hot pools at the base of the mountain dominate the compact village. Nightlife is relaxed, with the Jackpine Pub offering burgers and pub games, the Wildfire Rustic Grill a more upscale evening and amongst others Greys Restaurant offering five course dining and fondues. The Elkhorn Cabin, at 7,000 feet, has a Mountain BBQ with Torchlit Guided Descent some evenings. There is a ‘dinner bus’ to Invermere, the local town, for a greater variety of eateries, including the lively Angus McToogle’s. Dog-sledding and snowmobiling are on offer at nearby Toby Creek.
