We aim to keep any supplements to a minimum and to let you know upfront what you might reasonably expect. Our prices are based on 2 people sharing a bedroom, so (apart from single travellers) there are no under-occupancy surcharges, and discounts apply for 3 or 4 adults sharing a room. Groups of 10 or more get an even better discount – call us for details or email our new groups department; groups@frontier-travel.co.uk

Before you fly
We can arrange every part of your holiday for you, from the moment you leave your
house; if you are driving to the airport before you fly, let us book your parking
for you. We can book overnight accommodation at the airport - often the cost of a
hotel which offers parking as well is very little extra and ensures you will be at
the airport relaxed and in plenty of time for your flight. Once you get to the airport, do
consider the benefits of an airport lounge - For less than £20 per person you can get away
from the hustle and bustle, enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks and relax prior to boarding
your flight.
Flights
If flights are included in your holiday they will include all known airport taxes
except airport improvement fees at Edmonton and Montréal which have to be paid locally and range from
$10-25. Most flights to Canada depart around lunchtime and arrive on the same afternoon. The return flights
depart early evening, arriving the following day.
Transfers
For most resorts, regular scheduled transfers are included in the price of your
holiday as they are the most cost-effective option.
For Whistler, we guarantee you will be transferred from the airport within an hour
of arrival. For all other resorts, you will have to wait for your scheduled transfer
which should be within 90 minutes. Transfers to some hotels may involve several stops.
Upgrading to a private transfer is better value than you might think, particularly for
families or groups of 4 or more. Ask us for cost details.
Car hire
Whilst for certain resorts, car hire is not needed it can be an added bonus when travelling in the Rockies – especially if you are planning a multi-centre itinerary. Canadian roads are kept as clear as possible in the winter so 4x4s are not a necessity in most areas, however, they are fun to drive and certainly give one an added feeling of security. We will ensure we give you the right car to suit your party size and needs.

Accommodation
The quality of your accommodation is obviously vital to the success of your holiday and we aim to get the perfect property to suit you and your needs. Information on the properties includes details on location, amenities and the type of accommodation on offer; all of the accommodation in the brochure is of 3-star quality or higher. Unless stated, all hotel rooms have ensuite bathrooms, hairdryers, telephones, televisions (many with pay movies, Playstations and Nintendos), and most have tea or coffee makers. The majority of the hotels we feature have 2 double beds in each bedroom. The self-catering properties have a variety of bedding options; we will tell you if there is limited space. Condominiums are well equipped and provide all the linen, towels and crockery you will need. Full, daily housekeeping will sometimes be included,
Most self-catering units have sofabeds in the living area, fireplaces and kitchen facilities, and either in-suite washer/dryers or communal coin-operated laundries. Depending on availability at time of booking, we may have to change the supplier of the accommodation, in which case, all prices and free night offers would be subject to change.
Ski extras
We have negotiated special rates for you on lift tickets, rentals and ski school programmes. These include free ski days, free kids’ ski lessons and equipment rental, and early booking discounts. Many of these offers will not be available in-resort, and if you are travelling at peak times, you could miss out on getting the latest equipment, or on getting into the ski school programme best suited to you and your family. Let us pre-book all your ski extras for you before you go, leaving you more time to hit the slopes without any hassle. You will also save money compared to in-resort prices. Full details on your resort will be sent with your confi rmation and invoice to enable you choose the correct services to suit you. Call us to get details of all the ski school programmes, childcare options and lift and rental packages, or visit our website, www.frontier-ski.co.uk
Representation
We use Canadian representatives in many of our resorts and they, like us, really know the area and will treat you as an individual and not just a number. You will be contacted on arrival, and from thereon in, someone will be there if you need help, otherwise you will be left in peace to enjoy your holiday. In some resorts, such as Big White, the resort staff provides the service that would have been undertaken by our rep.
Ski friends
An added bonus is that all resorts have local volunteers who act as ‘ski friends’ and will, completely free of charge, show you round the mountains and take you to check out their favourite runs.
